Movie Review~ "Les Miserables"

 

Winter vacation this year's blockbusters Les Miserables, adapted from the Victor Hugo novel of the same name, the directed by Academy Award director Tom Hopper Anne, and Well-known actors ,Hathaway, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe as performances. This script to the French Revolution as the background story, it is contains shattered dreams and passion for life, dedication of sacrifice and atonement. The play presents endless soul trials.

When Victor Hugo wrote "Les Miserables", he has experienced the greatest era of idealism in the history of mankind, in this era from the French Revolution to 1848, People believe that through the revolution can achieve the ideal world of liberty, equality and fraternity. It is this belief, the literati and Patriots full of ideals, dare to devotion, dare to sacrifice. This era because of its generous outpourings of enthusiasm, so be labeled as "the Romantic era".

The drama has a strong contrast to the human nature of good and evil between the two male roles  Jean Valjean and Javert . Javert have always believed that he is the embodiment of justice, Jean Valjean because Sister's children almost starving, so he stealing a loaf of bread then was jailed for 20 years, when he released from prison suffered spurned despise. In desperation a Bishop took him, that night he stole silverware of the Bishop, when the police caught him,Bishop told police that the silverware are giving away to Jean Valjean, Bishop's move touched him, he used these silverware and start anew then to become the mayor of a wealthy and care of the people.in drama Fantine who sold hair and teeth just for her beloved daughter and finally loss of life, Jean Valjean to atone, he adopted Fantine’s daughter and to take care of her until she grows up.

 

This world famous drama, with a great variety of musical version, in which there were well - known nice songs . This is the first time use the form of a musical presented in the movie screen. When we are watch in cinemas, the audience from start to finish silence, See the last scene, many people visibly moved and burst into tears. This is a good movie worth recommending.
