Visit The Museum of Contemporary Art

This Friday, I went to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, this building in Taipei was built in 1921 AD, the original completed elementary school education of the Japanese colonial period exclusively for the Japanese children. Two-storey building, this building 120 meters wide ,subtropical cultures red brick wall structure with timber roof trusses, combined with building pillar of Western civilization the black tiles inclined roof, gable forms with both sides of the entrance to the gallery as a whole constitute a U-shaped school building with space.

1945, Taiwan entered the era of the Republic of China, the original built primary school premises switch homes for the newly established Office of the Taipei City Government. May 26, 2001 from the city historical sites of Taipei's old city turned into the Museum of Contemporary Art, in the domestic arts community long-term concern, it is bright opening and it has become a new landmark on the map of Taipei humanities.

In here will occasionally exhibited many contemporary art, there are open-air cafes then full of exotic ,and different romantic feelings at day or night . I have seen the exhibition with a few friends to sit down and take rest, is a great thing! Here every weekend fixed-organized Concert and open-air cinema . When you visit the exhibition there has service personnel to do the artwork for us to explain, to understand the characteristics, connotation, creative source of the works of art.

Compared to appreciate the exhibition, I am more interested the ancient Japanese architecture building , because the old building let me feel the footsteps of history, and I can feeling like the old building are breathing.
