Memories of Childhood - Grandmother's Mint Chicken
My childhood in Chaiyi, there growth of mint by the side on road, grandmother raised a lot of chicken and duck in the yard.
Every summer vacation, we have returned Chaiyi, grandmother was cooked a lot of delicious foods, and I think the most special is the mint chicken, it is my favorite food .
The home's kitchen stove it was a traditional style, we must have to lit a fire with straw. Grandmother to cleaned mint leaves , then with sesame oil and ginger fryed together until it was fragrant, and next step take out the internal organs from chicken , then put the mint leaves to chicken inside. then placed chicken into a big pot on the stove to baked.
