Memories of childhood - corn articles
My hometown is in Chiayi, where is most of the big champaign ofTaiwan ,I had studied first grade in primary school there, then I was went back to Taipei
an annual Chinese New Year or the summer holiday, The most anticipated things was back to Chiayi. I remember all farmland on both sides of river banks, a kind of rice, a kind of corn, watermelon, sweet potato, cabbage .... and so on crops.My hometown is in Chiayi, where is most of the big champaign of
every morning, after eating breakfast , cousins and I, who will be riding a bicycle to wander. looking at the green rice fields make people feel relaxed and happy, we will to the fields picking fresh sweet corn, and we to make a fire in fields central, then we threw the corn,it covered with the leaves into the fire along with the roast, and it is most delicious in the world, the freshest most natural, each bite full of sweet juice, and now it seems like just yesterday, my mouth seems to have residual that…sweet corn.
